Summer School Housing and How to Apply

The Summer 2023 housing application opens April 1, 2023. To live in summer housing, you must be enrolled as a CofC student either for a summer 2023 term or for fall 2023.

To begin the application, you must first pay the $200 housing prepayment and the $50 housing application fee in the MyHousing/Dining portal via MyPortal. Prepayment waivers are not available for summer housing.

Summer housing will be located in Rutledge Rivers, May 14-August 5, 2023. Students may request a private or double bedroom, although a private cannot be guaranteed. All rooms have shared bathrooms, living rooms, and kitchens (with full-size refrigerator, sink, induction cooktop, and microwave) with other summer residents.

The cost for CofC students is $40 per night (private) or $36 per night (double). All nights are billed in a lump sum before the start of your stay. If you have any questions about payment plans, please contact the Treasurer’s Office.
